The Krypton Lights take the notion of environmental awareness one step further by using all/most of the CNC solid waste material (except sawdust) generated during the creation of other pieces in the Wambamboo range. The off-cut material of varying lengths, have dictated the design, reinforcing the notion of the organic and symbolising a group of growing bamboo culms, through the juxtaposition of components and shapes that are quite straight and industrial. Available as either a pendant or table light.
The lamp highlights the DNA-like qualities of the lamination patterns found in cross-laminated bamboo, referencing a biological commonality found between people and plants, at the same time promoting a more environmentally aware coexistence.
