The Totem Pendant Lights reference organic and cultural interpretations of bamboo.
Inspirations range from the personal graffiti scrawled on bamboo calms found in the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, the prismatic-like mountainous countryside of Anji County China, to the DNA patterning which has become a trademark of many of Wambamboo's pieces, showing our biological connection with the plant world.
The lights are included in the latest SGAR Collectibles II exhibition, featuring a collection of small scale artefacts produced by a selection of local creatives, each responding to individual conceptual concerns to produce affordable collectibles.
